New website for leading north west construction company

Through Marketing has developed and launched a new website for Cheshire-based construction company Mansell Finishes Limited - www.mansellfinishes.co.uk.

Established in 1992, Mansell Finishes is one of the UK’s longest established and most experienced sub-contractors in its field. The company has worked with many of the UK’s largest Main Contractors including Laing O’Rourke, McGoff and Byrne, Wates, Morgan Sindall, ISG and Galliford Try.

In addition to a fresh design and user-friendly navigation, the brief was to create a website that would showcase the company’s two key areas of expertise – off-site structures and on-site finishes. Mansell Finishes also wanted to showcase the scope and scale of completed projects across various sectors, including education, commercial, health, leisure and residential.

The site has been designed to be mobile and tablet responsive so visitors to the site can browse on their device of choice while ensuring the best viewing experience. Full control of the management of content, through the integration of a Wordpress Content Management System (CMS), enables the company to update the website in-house without incurring any external expense – a further key requirement of the original brief.

The ability to regularly update site content, including adding and deleting pages and uploading new text and images, has the added benefit of aiding search engine optimisation (SEO). A newsletter sign-up to capture vital contact information enables the company to grow its database and spread its message.

Working with a trusted web development partner selected specifically for the job, Through Marketing project managed the whole process including developing the text and sourcing of images.

Angela Mansell, operations director at Mansell Finishes, comments: “The website is an important part of our marketing activities but one that we found difficult to control and manage in the past. Since the new site has been launched we have taken control of content management and have a strong asset and platform to support our on-going marketing communication activities with Through Marketing central to the execution of these plans.”
