ICS Triplex, now part of Rockwell Automation, has been manufacturing and supplying safety critical shutdown and control systems since 1966.
As a global automation specialist the company’s latest product – AADvance – offered industry leading functionality. They briefed us to develop a creative advertising campaign to launch this high value product into the oil and gas market.
Following briefing meetings with the client the agency identified key positioning statements that were then developed into creative concepts for the advertising campaign. At the centre of the advertising creative was a campaign strapline - the natural choice – from which the concept of fruit was developed and then used to communicate the separate core benefits of the new product – a highly unusual subject matter for a safety system destined for the oil and gas market. At the core of the campaign was a new microsite with online advertising driving traffic to it.
Although at core of the campaign was digital marketing, the concept was then rolled out across exhibition, corporate literature and offline advertising materials.
The creative concept created a point of difference and made the company stand out in a competitive market. In addition, the project plan gave ICS Triplex peace of mind knowing that the fulfilment of their adverts was in hand enabling them to concentrate on other core business activities. The launch was deemed a success and the company secured several new sales orders as a result.
